I've been a freelance graphic designer for 25 years. I have produced Book Covers, Flyers for cafes, theaters, & clubs; I've designed Posters, Brochures, Booklets, Bookmarks, and have laid out whole books; made titling and image graphics for videos; produced Tea Tin labels, Tee Shirt designs, Sticker designs, Button designs, Tattoo designs, & Business Cards; have created Websites, and CD & DVD Covers & Interiors; have made a slew of Logos for bands, individuals, and all kinds of different businesses.
In today's world you can't hide from graphic design. It is apart of everything. It posses a language that goes beyond marketing. It transcends the concept of "image" to become status itself.
Though the graphic design work I do now is mostly for my own artistic endeavors within a piece of art or for use with Cherokee Starlight, Cup of Love, Vampyre Tea Company, or Kaos Kustom Fangs, I still love designing, and take on the occasional commission from time to time.

Song Image that I collaged this for the song, Indian Casino, from Tacos in Venus. It rings true to the message in the music, which is an Indian Casino is psychological warfare, and in this arena the Native Americans are fighting back...and winning!

What I like about this logo, is that it actually tells you where the gallery was located on the square, in Marrieta, GA.
This is the third part to the tattoos that I have on my arms. I designed those and this image is the final, companion piece that will complete the tattoo. Then it will all read: Protect Your Peace; Live with God!

Vampyre Tea Tin Label. My daughter, One, and I came up with this incredible green tea, blueberry, and coconut tea blend while driving to the Baltimore Comic-Con. Once the tea was locked, the design came instantaneously. I hired an artist to draw the Dino to my specs and then designed the tea tin label to suit it.

Vampyre Tea Tin Label. JSin, the lovely vampire in this pic, is a Special FX Make Up Artist on the Walking Dead. He came in, did this awesome make up. I fitted him with the Kaos Kustom Fangs that I had made, and snapped the shot to design this classic tea tin label. The hardest part of the whole shoot was finding the right tea cup for him to hold.

I've always loved this pic of me peeing on my Grandma. Babies do that. Simple and Natural. So, when it came time to design the CD Cover and Interior, I had to add a few family photos and vector images to it.
Vampyre Tea Tin Label. This smokey tea blend with an apple finish was the one blend that showed me that I was good at crafting tea blends. It gave me the confidence to continue crafting and launch the tea company.

Tunecore forced me to change my actual CD cover, which is below. Because I had the logo wrap around from the front to the back, so to them that cut off text. For fuck's sake! Cut off Text? Are you kidding me. I did a tried and true design layout for a physical item that opens and they wouldn't budge an inch. So...I whipped up this lovely piece of crap from elements from the original CD design.

Sticker & T-Shirt Design from the interior layout from Tacos in Venus. New Mexico is associated with the Zia Symbol. As I live in NM, I'm always trying to find ways to promote my state. So, when I came across this Twin Skull image from Sal V. Cloak, I bought it, and waited to use it for Cherokee Starlight's sophomore opus. The idea for the Twin Zia Skull came while designing the CD interior in Photoshop. A few tweaks to the skull image and a bit of line creation and processing, and bam!
Book Cover Design for my first poetry collection, Spoken Word. ...Yes, that's an actual tooth that I pulled. I accented all the nasty bits in Photoshop, instead of cleaning it up, because poetry is raw and visceral.

Vampyre Tea Tin Label. It took hours to get the model through hair and make-up, then have her tied up and hung upside down. I took the pic in less than 3 minutes. Then spent two weeks designing, what would become, the template for all Vampyre Teas.
