The Making Of...
I love creating things. Whether it's a song, a story, something cool to look at, or a video to watch; a good tea to drink, or a wicked set of fangs, the creation process always yields its own artifacts.
So, I've gathered together a bit of pics, taken, while in the progress of creating. Though I must admit, I'm not the most adept person at chronicling the artistic process while it's happening. I get involved; lost in the fervor of the moment, and often find myself at the end of it with nothing but the thing itself.

After composing the figure, I photographed a gesso on wood background, and placed it in.

While in Marietta, working at the Studio on the Square, we were commissioned to create a coffin shelf display for my teas and a sign from the logo. Kate Tsocanos, in sugar skull make up, created the sign. I made the coffin.

When I lived in Marietta, GA, I set up an area outside of the house where I could paint. This pic was the beginning of Your Garden Of Honesty.

I ruined these shorts. But I soooo enjoyed doing it.

The down time of creating is just as important as creating.

After Lisa and I worked on the song and she came up with her amazing cello part for The Truth of It, from Tacos in Venus, she wrote it down to remember it.

Based on this photo and the next ones over, I repainting the back panel, removing most of the reds and yellows.

The back Panel was close at this point. But not totally there. More work on it needed to be done.

I went into detail how the new Gretsch set was all dialed in. That it sounded great through the system. I told him him to leave it alone. But the S.O.B. tuned them anyway.... They have never been the same ever since!
